A commitment to justice: LeaderSpring’s General Solidarity Statement

At LeaderSpring Center, we are putting our commitment to solidarity into practice, especially as we center the needs and wellbeing of social sector leaders, particularly Women of Color. In light of harmful policies and executive orders that disproportionately affect marginalized communities, we stand resolutely with those whose leadership and lives are most impacted.

Our work, grounded in the core values of Liberation, Transformative Leadership, Deep Relationships, Learning through Reflection, Emergence, and Well-Being, continues to amplify and support those working toward racial, social, and economic justice. By listening, advocating, and collaborating with BIPOC leaders and communities, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of equity and justice.

We are deeply grateful to the Building Movement Project’s resource, Writing a Solidarity Statement, for its invaluable guidance and insight, which has helped shape and inform our approach in crafting this statement.

Together, we are building a movement where collective action and the courage to lead will drive the change our communities need. Thank you for standing in solidarity with us as we continue this journey of liberation.
