WEBINAR

Leaders Grounded in Justice and Liberation

This webinar is an introduction to embodying liberation practices. It is for social sector leaders who want to refine or refresh their liberation praxis.

Often in the field, we focus on moving forward justice and liberation practices in our community-facing work and forget that it’s just as important to center these practices with ourselves and our organizational cultures.

Justice and liberation are embodied experiences. Although we have not yet lived in a world centering liberation, we can find refuge in the creative practice of imagining that future reality.

Grounding in liberation as leaders invites us to come back to our bodies, hearts, and the land to deepen these relationships as roots for our work in the social sector.

Spend 90 minutes in practice, grounding, visualizing, reflecting, and reclaiming your time and radical imagination

This work is in service to the healing and generative decision-making required as we work in the oppressive structures of the Nonprofit Industrial Complex (NPIC) and capitalism:

Introduction to embodiment and visualization exercises to cultivate spacious visionary decision-making.

Understanding the relationship between healing, nourishing cultures of care, and the way we move towards justice. Rrooting this work in the lineages of a healing justice framework.

Understanding  the impacts of the NPIC and capitalism on leadership approaches and organization culture.

Integration coaching is available after the webinar for an additional fee if you would like to create an individual action plan with live support.

We will be announcing our launch soon

A NOTE ABOUT DEIB SERVICES

We are phasing outour diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging consulting work. Over the past five years, we have been called upon and provided DEIB consulting support to many organizations. This has been important and hard work. As LeaderSpring continues its evolution we are reexamining the resources required to do this work sustainably and well, along with the current appetite for the financial, emotional, and time investments we ask of our client partners. t Justice and liberation remain the central drive and goal of our work as we launch our new offerings.

We appreciate and affirm the work of other orgs in the DEIB field and encourage you to explore their offerings:
CompassPoint | Race Forward  | Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE) | Grant Makers in the Arts (Gia) National Equity Project | Art Equity | Equity in the Center

The LeaderSpring team has been amazing partners in supporting our efforts to transform ourselves into a DEI-committed and anti-racist organization which now increases our capacity to authentically fulfill on our mission and values.
